This candle burns for all the sweet Angels ....
The family would like to thank the Firefighters who risked their lives to save Chelsea and Cole. To the firefighter who was injured a special thank you and hope that you fully recovered. To the police officers and paramedics who were there for our family and who provided support in our time of need, thank you. To the Red Cross and Salvation Army, both great organizations that really cared about our immediate and future needs, and us thank you. To the Queensway Carleton hospital staff thank you for the care that you provided my daughter Cindy and I. To our family and friends, your support and kind words are truly appreciated. Your support is enabling us to work through this terrible tragedy. To the Ottawa community and the TD Bank for setting up a trust fund for Cindy, thank you. A big thank you to our friends, firefighters, the mayor, the police chief and his officers and the city councillor who came to pay their respects to our two little ones at the memorial service. To Rev. Joseph Burke who performed the service, your kind and uplifting messages will stay with us as we get through this terrible tragedy. To Ms Lynne McCarney principal of Severn Avenue Public School who struck the right note, drawing out the happy memories from the children's school lives. You provided us with much needed strength to get us through this very difficult day. We know how much their classmates, teachers and everyone who knew them will miss Chelsea and Cole. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support, which will help our family through this time of mourning.
